SIDRA is a youth based nonprofit organization for community development. The name ‘SIDRA’ means “Sustainable initiative for community development, Research & Action’ through which we work towards research, development and volunteer. Basically, works with on Health & Environment Initiative in Bangladesh. SIDRA’s goal is to take initiatives for sustainable development through research and innovative work.
Mission
To strive for efficient leadership of the youth in research and innovation in the promotion of career oriented and quality education by improving the environment to ensure good health.
Vision
- Creating volunteers through talented enterprising and patriotic college and university
- Delivering services to remote areas through skilled volunteers through training, technical
- assistance and specific guidelines.
- Establishment of own research center for conducting research and innovation activities
- through volunteers interested in specific topics and skilled.
- Expanding the initiative by providing assistance for the implementation of the service to the
- society and the people.
- Attempt for efficient leadership by training the youth by setting up their own institutes.
- Efforts are being made to make the community self-reliant by conducting various awareness
- activities including health education, healthcare and training the people in the community by
- setting up centers in remote areas and various neighborhoods.

Founder Speech
The youth of our country have a strong desire to conquer and have immense potential to innovate. If we can inspire our young generation to love the country and create a position and opportunity to truly cooperate to reflect their aspirations, then one day the youth of our country can bring us the joy and opportunity to conquer the red-green world through their social innovation and initiative. So if we can help the students of different colleges and universities of the country to recognize their academic curriculum as well as the place of social responsibility, then these young people with immense potential will strive to play an important role in shaping the country and manifest its leadership qualities.
We believe that every Activist of SIDRA belongs to one family. And their families spread to every corner of the country. And all the volunteers of SIDRA-Bangladesh can increase the communication in the international arena from one shadow to the other, expanding its recognition and knowledge in the country.

People, there are generally not aware of recent technologies like Deepfake and their consequences. As people’s reliance on technology grows, so does their vulnerability to its misuse. Cyber literacy is a campaign that is designed to aware the general people about the correct and safe use of social media to decrease cyber crimes and risks.
